Gifts for Foodies Under $10
Foodie gifts under $10 each? It might be hard to believe, but you can find some items at this price point, even without sales or shopping used. (Not that there’s anything wrong with either of those things!) So if you’re trying to buy for a foodie friend, but worried about price, fear no more! We’ve rounded up some great options, whether you’re on a budget or just looking for something small to say you appreciate someone.
A gift that’s functional and looks really pretty, too? Perfect. Your loved one can use these ice cubes in all sorts of beverages. Freeze lemons and add them to water or iced tea, freeze rosemary or mint for cocktails, oranges for margaritas on the rocks... the possibilities are as endless as their imagination!
These make a fantastic stocking stuffer, and hopefully, they’ll think of you every time they have a drink that’s just that much more delicious thanks to your thoughtful gift!
This product is a dream for storing unfinished avocado! You may be asking—who doesn’t finish an avocado in one go?! But sometimes, avocados can be big guys, or you’re serving it to a kid who can’t finish the whole thing. Whatever the case—ensure it doesn’t get brown and too soft by purchasing this hugger that will protect an avocado in the fridge.
The best way to protect the avocado is by keeping it from oxidizing, and that’s exactly what the avocado hugger is designed to do: keep the oxygen at bay. Plus, it’s not only useful, but it’s convenient, too. It’s made of silicone and dishwasher safe!
Need a stocking stuffer? Or something small to gift a cutie at work that says a lot, but not too much? These chocolate holiday cards are perfect for just such an occasion. Each card is beautifully illustrated and comes with a full bar of chocolate tucked into the backside. You can inscribe it with any message before gifting.
There are three different options, too—one a little romantic, one perfect for family and one holiday-neutral, in case you aren’t sure what they celebrate. Order fast, because they’re already selling out!
If your loved one loves to wear white, but also enjoys a glass of red wine, they’ve probably had a very specific problem at least once in their life: Red wine stains. They are SO HARD to get out, and the bold color really makes them stand out on any light fabric. But this red wine stain remover is here to the rescue.
“Not only does this serum made from biodegradable surfactant work on old and new stains, it also makes stubborn berry juice, coffee and other household spills disappear. This cleanser is safe on all colorfast washable fabrics, so you can bring out your "special occasion" table settings for everyday get-togethers without fear.” What a dream.
I feel like we need to say these four words again: Toaster. Grilled. Cheese. Bags. This is a game changer! Instead of having to pull out a skillet any time someone wants a grilled cheese, just pop your cold sandwich into here and watch the toaster do the work for you!
If you have a friend who has kids who are obsessed with grilled cheese (and show me one child who hasn’t gone through that phase for at least a little while), this gift is going to make their lives so much easier!
The bags are even reusable! Reuse each one up to FIFTY TIMES. (Pssst: This is also great for anyone with allergies who needs to be very careful about cross-contamination.)
Get the grill lover in your life a set of these wraps for their next meal with grilled veggies. Each wrap infuses delicious smoky flavors of Pacific cedar and alder, which can be tough to do on a charcoal grill. The sheets are made from real wood that has been sliced thinly enough and treated so that it can curve around a bundle of their favorite veggies.
According to the description, these wraps are "made by a family-owned business that sources materials to meet the highest standards of purity, the sheets keep food juicy as they impart their naturally savory notes, and also offer unique presentation for plating.”
Potatoes are SO versatile—fries, mashed potatoes, breakfast food and more! Now we’re adding one more use to the list: Phone stands. Okay, this pop grip isn’t a real potato. But this cute little Kawaii pop grip/phone stand is sure to make any potato-lover smile. It can adhere to any case and pops out whenever it’s needed.
Not sure they’ll love the potato? Smoko also makes a dumpling, boba tea and chicken leg pop grips, all for sale on Urban Outfitters! At $9 each, these make a cute stocking stuffer for any friend.
Cross-stitch is a really lovely way to relax and also a fun way to show of your love for all kinds of things: Science, beautiful patterns and now: bacon! That’s right, this pattern not only amusingly says, “Praise the Lard,” it also teaches someone how to make a three-dimensional cross-stitch. It’s definitely for advanced stitchers or people who are willing to learn how to do something a little technically difficult.
Print out the PDF for them and mail it in a nice package or just send an email with the download! Super easy for you, super fun for them.
Everyone needs at least one monogrammed mug in their life. How else are they going to clearly claim a cup of coffee, tea or cocoa for their own? These mugs from Anthropologie are a classic. The simple black and white means they’ll match almost any dishware set.
The style has that classic French bistro look to it that brings to mind the smell of croissants and relaxing days in a park. Maybe everyone in your life needs one of these!
GIFTS FOR FOODIES UNDER $30
There are plenty of wonderful gifts to be found for $30 and under, to the point that it’s almost embarrassingly difficult to choose which one is best! We’ve rounded up nine of the great ones we’ve discovered this season, which will hopefully help you decide on a present for your loved one!
There are few candies with more childhood nostalgia than gummy bears. And this jar of confetti gummy bears is like the adult version of them. The sprinkles add a beautiful and colorful crunch that is sure to delight anyone of any age. Get ready for the party with these cute little gummies!
Quick! Think of someone who loves Paris! I’m sure a bunch of people came to mind, which means you’ve got a lot of people you could potentially gift this heatable croissant plushie to. In the shape of a smiling croissant, it’s sure to cheer you up while also keeping you warm.
This plushie comes with a removable pouch filed with lavender and flax seed that you can safely pop in the microwave to warm up the plushie.

Every season has its scents, right? Flowers for spring, fruit in the summer, books during autumn? And the big ones for f winter are always food-related because that's when all the big food gathering holidays are, right? So,pick out one of these delicious food-scented candles for a loved one! Choose from Mulled Wine, Milk & Cookies and Buttered Rum.
Each candle comes in a decorative holiday tin, as well, so they’ll look beautiful in addition to smelling great. The candles are 10 oz. soy candles, so they’ll burn cleanly for 40 hours. What a great way to make the kitchen at least smell like company is coming over.
For your friend in the kitchen who already has every tool imaginable, get them these cute little Dutch oven magnets! Everyone loves a Dutch oven, and it’s just science that the teeny tiny version of something is even cuter than the original, so these are sure to be a win!
They’ll look so adorable holding up Friday’s dinner recipe, honey-do lists and so much more. You’ll of course get bonus points if you pair these with a cute card or a great photo. They need something to put on the fridge with the magnets!
Nothing in the world says ‘classy meal’ like a napkin ring. They are (c’mon, let’s admit it) totally unnecessary and also so fancy. When trying to put together a beautiful tablescape, a matching napkin ring set really brings the whole look together. And these wooden ones are a great option because they’ve got a beautiful neutral quality to them.
Wood has been used in design for so long that it can blend into any kitchen or dining room décor pretty flawlessly. Because these are very smooth and minimalist but also highlight the dark wood grain, they’ll match anything from shabby chic farmhouse to ultra-modernist sleek design. Heck, buy a set for everyone you know—this inexpensive set of 4 makes a great stocking stuffer.
I’m sure some people would dispute some of the foods on this list. I don’t see mashed potatoes on there, for instance, which is obviously a crime, but the makers were definitely going for the best or most famous food from every country, and that’s harder to dispute.
This is a fantastic gift for anyone whose favorite part of traveling is all the new food they get to try! They can track and showcase their culinary adventures by scratching off the gold foil to reveal the illustrated dish from every country. Now the only question is whether they have to go to the country to try the dish or if going to the best restaurant near home counts. Let the debate begin!
Everyone’s got at least one loved one with a huge sweet tooth, right? Gift your favorite sweet fiend a wonderful gift they probably don’t buy often for themselves: Champagne truffles. These truffles are lightly dusted with powdered sugar and filled with a milk chocolate and Marc de Champagne center.
If you’re not familiar with Marc de Champagne, no worries! It’s one of 30 appellations in the Champagne region of France, which you can learn more about here!
Naturally, this also makes a good gift for your friend who is always looking for an excuse to pop a bottle of champagne.
Give a science geek a gift they’ll love to eat! This set of ten lollipops features the sun and all nine planets in our solar system in edible form. (Yes, Pluto is included!) These are absolutely edible works of art!
And of course, each planet gets its own flavor: caramel cream for Mercury, orange cream tangerine for Venus, cotton candy for Earth, pear for Mars, key lime pie for Jupiter, guava for Saturn, marshmallow for Uranus, raspberry for Neptune, apple pie for Pluto, and last but not least, bubble gum for our favorite sun.
If you feel like you’re starting to see beautiful pink Himalayan Salt everywhere, you’re not the only one! Not only is it lauded for being healthy for you, but it also tastes delicious. And for your friends who love their tequila with some salt, these hand-carved reusable glasses are the perfect gift. They’re sure to become a favorite for the way they gave the tequila (or mezcal!) a wonderful salty finish.
And, from the makers themselves: “Bonus: Salt is naturally antibacterial and super stable, which means they're up for multiple rounds (and fiestas).”
Gifts for Foodies Under $100
Looking to spend a little more on a loved one or a friend this holiday season? There are so many fun gifts at the price point of $100 and less! We’ve gathered some of our favorites to offer some inspiration based on this type of budget.
Everyone loves something a little funky every once in a while, and this Celeste Dessert Stand from Anthropologie fits the bill perfectly. This beautiful gold and enamel cake (or dessert!) stand really brings are tablescape to life.
Gift this to anyone who loves to have friends over for brunches, holidays parties, and more. While not explicitly holiday-themed, this is an especially great stand for the winter holidays.
These gilded reindeer measuring cups are the perfect addition to any holiday baker’s kitchen. The four nesting cups measure ¼, ⅓, ½ and 1 cup. The stoneware is beautifully molded to look like a reindeer and the gold detail is just enough without being gaudy. They aren’t microwave or dishwasher safe, so they might really serve better just as decoration, but in a pinch, they’ll get the job done!
Buy these for anyone who really goes all out with their holiday decorating, but also already has every tool they ever need to make a perfect feast.
We can’t describe it better than Williams-Sonoma did, so we’ll let them do the talking: “We teamed up with Amirah Kassem's Soho-based Flour Shop bakery to bring you this exclusive kit for whipping up your own version of the Instagram-famous Rainbow Explosion Cake at home.”
The kit also comes in a fun novelty case made to look like a paint can, and that case can be reused to store sprinkles in the future!
Help your loved one keep their little toesies warm with these heated potato slippers from Smoko. They’re USB-powered, which is great because that means there’s no microwaving and heating packs that then have to be handled while they’re piping hot. Just charge the slippers up, slip them on and get cozy on the couch.
The little face on them and the tiny arms and legs on the potato make them just that much cuter and cozier, too.
DIY kits are always a lovely gift to give someone. They’ll think of you every time they use them, and they’ll keep them entertained for a long time.
“The kit includes the planter base, which features a built-in water reservoir that holds a month's worth of water, an LED lamp arm to provide vital light and three basil starter pods, so you can get growing right away. The proprietary soil mix is inspired by NASA research and contains nutrients released in sync with the plant's life cycle, keeps soil pH balanced and employs tiny oxygen pockets to guarantee plants get ample breathing room and nutrients even when the soil is wet.”
The base is also dishwasher-safe, so when the plant runs through its entire life cycle, they can easily clean the set to start over. It also comes in three great colors, so it’ll match any kitchen décor.
Le Creuset recently introduced their Noel Collection, which is full of beautiful cookware designed with the holiday in mind. This Santa platter is crafted from premium stoneware and finished with a vibrant glaze that’s easy to clean, dishwasher-safe and resistant to chips. That means your loved one will be able to use it for years and years to come.
Whether they’re plating a Christmas ham or Santa’s cookies, this platter will make a beautiful centerpiece year after year.
This is a beautiful and functional addition to any kitchen! The ceramic crock is spotted to look like classic stoneware. The maple wood tablet dock features a hole to thread a cord through, though the cord is sold separately, so that no one runs the risk of the tablet battery dying in the middle of a complicated recipe. Together, the combo is a beautiful modern decoration.
Use it to stash all your most used tools, or add some plastic flowers to the back to bring some easy-to-care-for greenery into the kitchen, as well.
The new Ember mug doesn’t just keep your beverages hot; it actually keeps them at the exact temperature you want. With the ability to set a temperature from the paired phone app, a drink can never again be too hot or too cold! It’ll hold its heat for 1.5 hours at a time.
Perfect for the home or office (or the home office), this is especially great for all your friends who are constantly microwaving the same cup of coffee over and over again. (Ahem. Hello, mamas.) Just warn them that it’s not dishwasher safe—this is a handwash only item!
Who said we had to leave drinking games behind when we finished college? Get your competitive and fun-loving friends this fun alcoholic twist on Monopoly, Charades and Beer Pong.
The makers describe it best: “Perfect for parties or just to start the weekend right, Beeropoly invites players to quaff their way through a series of beer challenges—from a rhyming competition to demonstrating their best dance moves. Players take turns rolling the dice (included) and moving their bottle cap pieces around the handsome pine wood board. They complete the beer challenges along the way and risk elimination. The last man or woman standing must drink the Community Cup.”
