Please know that while many of these recipes are gluten free, most of them do not require any gluten in the first place. (As someone who does not eat a gluten free diet, I do not feel like I am an expert in swaps, so I want to bring solid naturally gluten free recipes to the table for the people who want to share them.)
Please know that The Speckled Palate is not a blog that focuses on creating gluten free recipes. BUT I find it extremely important to offer recipes for people who eat all diets.
Because as someone who loves to host her friends, I feel passionately about being able to make and serve these friends something good that they can eat.

One big thing I’ve learned from friends is that just because something *should* be gluten free doesn’t necessarily mean it is, and if you’re feeding a friend with an allergy, it is imperative to do the legwork to ensure you’re feeding them food they can safely enjoy.
