Raspberry and Strawberry Smoothie
Start your day right by making a vegan Raspberry and Strawberry Smoothie! This smoothie recipe is slightly sweet, creamy and full of fruit flavor. Makes 1 smoothie.

It’s officially spring!
While it might not FEEL like spring in some places, my town included this morning as I’m wrapped in a blanket typing, flowers are beginning to bloom, and the weather is warming up. I love the transformations that occur this time of year, and I’m looking forward to warmer days that aren’t too warm. (Because we worry about things like that in Texas… and it’s a real concern, y’all.)
To celebrate the changing of the seasons, let’s use some of our favorite fruits to make a fruit-forward smoothie.
This simple smoothie is perfect for busy mornings or an afternoon snack.
Why I love this recipe:
This Raspberry and Strawberry Smoothie is a delicious start to any day.
It calls for both raspberries AND strawberries, it’s sweetened with agave nectar and blended with dairy-free milk.
This (accidentally, but awesomely) vegan smoothie is slightly sweet and delicious. In fact, I’m currently sipping on one now.
This recipe is definitely something any smoothie lover should learn to make because it is simple and refreshing.
Below, I’ve got ideas for variations on this easy recipe, so you can riff on it in your own kitchen.

Let’s talk ingredients!
In addition to the tools above, you’re going to need some ingredients to make this recipe, too! Chances are, you might already have some of them in your fridge or pantry. Scroll down to the recipe card for the full measurements and instructions.
Here are the simple ingredients you need to have to make this delicious smoothie at home:
- Unsweetened vanilla almond milk — or your favorite unsweetened non-dairy milk. I prefer something like oat milk or cashew milk, but you could easily use coconut milk, hemp milk soy milk if you prefer those.
- Fresh raspberries — I love the pop of natural sweetness these fresh berries give to the smoothie. You can replace them with frozen raspberries, if you don’t have fresh.
- Frozen strawberries — frozen berries are a great way to get that sweet summertime flavor without needing fresh fruit. These also help the smoothie have that perfect frosty texture. (The frozen fruit also helps us not water down the smoothie with a cup of ice.)
- Agave nectar — this adds just a hint of sweetness to the smoothie. You can replace it with the same amount of real maple syrup or a little honey, if you prefer.
Please note that I really like to use the non-dairy milk for the best flavor and creamiest texture for this smoothie.
Because of this, I do not recommend using fruit juice or a combination of fruit juices (like orange juice, apple juice or even lime juice.) This smoothie simply will not work as well, in my opinion.
Variations:
Add banana for additional creaminess. (I can’t eat fresh or frozen banana because I’m allergic, but I support you in adding that flavor in, as I know it pairs well with fruits.)
Add a handful of leafy greens (like fresh spinach) for additional goodness. The spinach will muddle the color of the smoothie, so it will not look like the one shown here.
Measure in a scoop of peanut butter or almond butter for extra protein. You could also add a scoop of protein powder for some additional heft to the smoothie. (Use your favorite protein powder. I’m partial to a vanilla bean flavor for a fruit smoothie like this one.)
Make a double batch and transform them into smoothie bowls.
Scoop in some plain Greek yogurt (or your favorite dairy-free yogurt) for additional creaminess.

How to make this Strawberry Raspberry Smoothie
Measure the unsweetened almond milk, raspberries, strawberries and agave nectar into the base of a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Pour into your favorite drinking cup, and enjoy this delicious raspberry smoothie with strawberries immediately.
How to store leftovers:
If you’ve got extra smoothie leftover, I like to pour it into an ice cream tray and freeze for later. You can re-blend later with an additional splash of milk.
