If you’re anything like me, there’s a chance that you enjoy a drink that makes you feel fancy.

The drink itself, of course, doesn’t have to be fancy; it just has to emanate that feeling of fanciness.

And if that mocktail that makes you feel fancy is pretty good for you, I’m over the moon.

Let me introduce y’all to this Pomegranate Ginger Orange Sparkling Mocktail.

My friends at Sprouts challenged me to create a mocktail featuring their new Vitamin C Fizzy Drink Packets. And I’m so glad they did because this time of year always feels a bit dicey for me, health-wise.

And with a daughter in Mother’s Day Out (who has brought home all the joyful childhood diseases and passed them along to me) and a newborn (who needs to be kept away from as many germs as possible because she won’t have her first round of vaccines until November), I need to be on my game, health-wise, this year.

In addition to a potential health boost through the Vitamin C Fizzy Drink Packet, this mocktail is insanely easy to make, too. It calls for just FOUR ingredients.

It’s also sparkly, thanks to ginger ale.

There’s a hint of tart-sweetness, thanks to pomegranate juice.

And there’s a little bit of acid with a spritz of lemon juice.

Easy peasy, y’all. And if you want to spread the joy of this sparkling mocktail, you can very easily turn this into a pitcher drink! (More on this down in the recipe card.)

Why should I make this non-alcoholic drink?

Because it’s delicious! And because, with flu season just around the corner, we all need a little immune boost, which we can get from the Sprouts Vitamin C Fizzy Drink Packet.

In addition to those two reasons, this drink feels fancy but is actually quite simple to mix up. Why would we not want to try it?

    Can I make it alcoholic?

Sure! I suggest mixing in vodka, rum or champagne to booze up this mocktail. Your alcohol of choice simply depends on what you want out of the drink…

What does the Fizzy Vitamin C Packet actually do?

This packet is a dietary supplement which provides 1,000 milligrams of Vitamin C per serving. (That’s 1,667% of your daily value of Vitamin C.)

It provides antioxidants and electrolytes, essential nutrients and B vitamins, too!

Why do the flavors of this mocktail work?

I’m a sucker for slightly sweet-acidic drinks, and this mocktail has those flavors in spades.

The pomegranate juice adds a nice sweet-tartness, and the lemon juice adds a zip of acid. The Fizzy Vitamin C Packet in Tart Orange adds tartness, as well, with a hint of sweetness on the end. And the ginger ale adds bubbly sweetness, too!

The combination of these four ingredients make for the perfectly balanced sweet-but-not-too-sweet, tart-but-not-too-tart sipper that’s perfect for a variety of occasions!

Where can I serve this mocktail?

Since it’s sparkling and features fall and winter flavors, I suggest serving this mocktail at any holiday-related gathering. You could also serve it at a tailgate, too!

No matter the occasion, this mocktail can easily slot into it and provide a delicious, non-alcoholic drink for guests.

That said, you can also simply serve it to yourself on a random weekday if you’re wanting to feel fancy. I promise it’s good for that, too. 😉

This recipe could easily be turned into a pitcher drink at a party. Decide how many servings you want, and multiply the ingredients by that much. Follow the same instructions (in a larger batch, of course), and serve chilled with lemon slices and pomegranate arils floating in the pitcher.
