Cajun Garlic Bread is a fun twist on the classic. It’s soft on the inside, crispy on the outside and loaded with garlic, parmesan and the perfect amount of Cajun spice. Made with a homemade garlic butter and baked to perfection, this is the recipe you’ll return to again and again.
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a rimmed sheet pan with foil or parchment paper and set aside.
Use a serrated knife to slice 1 loaf bread in half. Place the bread onto the prepared sheet pan.
Place 8 tablespoons unsalted butter in a large bowl. Measure in ¾ teaspoon Cajun seasoning, 1 ½ teaspoons minced garlic, 2 tablespoons chopped parsley and 2 tablespoons grated parmesan into the bowl.
Slather the butter on both sides of the bread. Sprinkle extra grated Parmesan on top of the butter.
Roast the bread open-faced in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing and enjoying.
Notes
While this recipe is best enjoyed right after it comes out of the oven, you can store leftovers wrapped in foil or in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in the toaster oven to crisp the bread back up.
