It’s hard for me to believe that 2013 is coming to a close so soon because it feels like this year just began.
Things have been a bit silent around here for the last few days because we’ve been visiting Winston’s and my families for the last week and a half, and as you read this, we’ll be on the road back to our Texas home. Our little vacation has been glorious, and while I’m excited to sleep in my own bed, I always wish we had more time to spend with our families when one of our trips comes to a close.
It’s been a good year for me personally and here at The Speckled Palate, so I thought it would be fun to look at the stats to identify and share the 10 most popular recipes of the year.
Here they are, in order of popularity:
1. Vegan Blueberry Muffins 2. The Cocktail Chronicles: Blizzard 3. Memphis-Style Barbecue Ribs 4. Whole Wheat Oatmeal Pancakes 5. Oven Fried Okra 6. Sweet Potato Bisque 7. Homemade Pizza Dough 8. Fresh Cranberry Muffins 9. (Vegan!) Coconut Oil Southern-Style Biscuits 10. Tailgate Thursday: Bloody Beer
If you haven’t already, you should check those recipes out. (Hint, hint.)
And then head on back here come the new year because I’ve got some ideas brewing to make 2014 even better than this one. (And let’s be real: 2013’s gonna be pretty hard to top, sooo…)
A lot of these ideas include awesome food and more lovely features for this little space on the internet.
Get excited, y’all!
